new house

Just a quick update about our new house, hubby collected the key on last wednesday, and start to do some checking on the things that should have in the house. And yes, all of it are in place. He's not doing the defect checking on the same day, as he wants me to help him on the checking. So, we plan to do it today, Sunday. :)

I'm so excited that finally our house is ready to move in. Yes, we will move in to this house and cancel our plan to move to shah alam. A lot of things has been considered and stay in puchong would be the best decision.

Yesterday morning, after bought some fish, meat and vege for next week stock, I headed to our new house to check how many lamps and which type of lamp should I buy for the house.

And yesterday noon, we went to Avalon Puchong to do some survey and end up bought the whole house lamp and fan. It cost us RM1,236.00 for 21 lamps and 4 fans. The expensive one is for our dining hall which cost us RM400. Others is just a normal lamp and deem light lamp.

Finished with that we did survey furniture at courts, but end up not choosing anything. Expensive ok!! So, next week will survey other place for furniture. Today we did invite Patrick, from Unity Design for kitchen measurement and hubby uncle for grill measurement. Hopefully they'll give us the best price. Seems like it's not a quick update now. :). Will update once I get quotation from all contractor. I hope can move in soon since Amir will start his school on Jan'11.
